More monograms

These A6 monogramed cards were really fun to make. I like creating from things I can find around the studio. I used wood type, metal type, & left over polymer plate artwork for this design.

Gift Tags

This was a pretty last minute addition to a print job I did this week. I was about to start printing, when the guilt of leaving a perfectly good printable area on my press sheet blank forced me to set more type and make something. For the picture, I attached the tag to a present for me already under the tree --- I think it is a book (best not to touch before the actual day; I'm a good guesser).

Bold

More bold wood type, this time in a folding A2 monogrammed card. I like experimenting with color and what happens when different inks overlap.

Thank you

Today I printed some Thank You cards for my good friends Erin & Paul. Paul brought me some nice kraft color paper and we sifted through my type collection for just the right combination.

December

Wow, I can't believe it is already December. Time to start thinking like Santa... Above is a Santa inspired card I made with some different sizes of woodtype. 

The radio broadcaster just said it might snow on Friday!
